Welcome to Spartan Check. These General Terms of Use govern the access and use of our showcase website and our SaaS platform for static analysis of embedded C/C++ code. By accessing our services, you unreservedly accept these terms.
1. Legal Notice and Intellectual Property
A. Service Publisher
The Spartan Check service is published and operated by:

B. Intellectual Property and Industrial Filing
The technical architecture, the visual ergonomics of the dashboard (HUD), the semantic analysis rules, and the software structures of Spartan Check are the exclusive property of Morgan Hurel. These elements have been the subject of an official evidentiary filing with the INPI:

Any reproduction, representation, modification, or adaptation of all or part of the service, without the prior written consent of the author, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by the Intellectual Property Code.
2. Client Source Code Ownership
Exclusive Client Ownership: You retain full and exclusive intellectual property of the source code (.c, .cpp, .h files, .zip archives) that you submit for analysis to Spartan Check.
Limited Analysis License: You solely grant us the temporary and technical right to run our analysis engines on your code for the strict execution of the service (generation of your audit report and correction suggestions).
3. Access and Use of the Service
Capacity: The use of the service is reserved for professionals (independent developers, startups, large embedded systems accounts).
Credential Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials. Any activity on your account is deemed to be carried out by you.
Fair Use: You agree not to use the service to analyze malicious code or to attempt to saturate, bypass, or hack the Spartan Check infrastructure.
4. Limitation of Liability (Technical Disclaimer)
Spartan Check is an assistance and decision-support tool for code compliance and robustness (including, but not limited to, BARR-C, ANSSI-C, CERT-C, and CERT-C++):
Obligation of Means: The static analysis and AI remediations proposed are technical optimization suggestions. The compliance or correction proposed by Spartan Check does not exempt the client from performing their own testing, hardware integration, and safety validation phases.
Absence of Legal Warranty: The use of our tool shall in no event engage the liability of Spartan Check or its publisher for any residual bugs, failures of critical embedded systems, or legal proceedings related to the non-compliance of your software products.
5. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation, execution, or validity of these Terms, and failing an amicable resolution, express jurisdiction is granted to the competent French courts.
